Pirelli World Challenge


  • Four classes of car represented: Grand Touring (GT), Grand Touring Sport (GTS), Touring Car (TC), and Touring Car B-Spec (TCB)
  • Races are run in a sprint race format (usually 45 minutes in length) featuring a multiple classes running simultaneously
    • GT and GTS cars race at the same time
    • TC and TCB cars race at the same time

Class Breakdown

  • Grand Touring (GT)
    • Production based sports and luxury cars
    • Cars have between 425 – 525 horsepower
    • Cars seen on track: Audi R8, Cadillac CTSV, Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, Chevrolet Corvette, Volvo S60, Mercedes-Benz, Dodge Vipers, Aston Martins
  • Grand Touring Sport (GTS)
    • Production based sports cars
    • Much closer to a stock vehicle than the GT cars
    • Slightly slower speeds than the GT cars
    • Cars seen on track: Ford Mustangs, Chevrolet Camaros, Porsche Caymans, Kia, Nissan 370z, Aston Martin
  • Touring Car (TC)
    • These cars are very close to stock with minor modifications allowed
      • The only modifications allowed are ones that would not void a factory warranty (generate ~ 230-260bhp)
    • Forced induction is permitted on cars where forced induction systems are provided from the manufacturer
    • Cars include: Honda Civics, MazdaSpeed 3’s, Volkswagen Jettas, Mini Coopers
  • Touring Car B-Spec (TCB)
    • These cars are essentially stock with only safety modifications allowed
    • Only Naturally aspirated motors permitted
    • Cars include: Honda Fit, Mazda 2, Ford Ka and Fiat Abarth
