Track Day FAQ

Q: When/where can I purchase power?

A: You can purchase power at the Credential Building outside Gate 2 upon arrival in the afternoon/evening on move-in day, typically the day before the rental begins. Power is reserved on a first-come-first-served basis, but we have plenty! Power cannot be purchased ahead of time.

Q: What type of power is available?

A: 30- and 50-amp. We have 110 outlets and the large 4 prong outlets. Power hookups are available in the Paddock. You must display a valid power permit if you hook up to any power in the Paddock.

Q: How much is power?

A: Power can be purchased on-site upon arrival at $25 per day with the exception of Sportbike Track Time, which is $35 per day.

Q: How much is camping?

A: If your Track Day organizer offers a camping option, it can be purchased on-site upon arrival at $25 per day with the exception of Sportbike Track Time, which is $35 per day. Power hookups are available in the Paddock, but there are no water or sewer hookups available on-site.

Q: Are there other camping options besides the Paddock?

A: Upon request and subject to availability, you may be able to purchase camping in the upper hilltop area, but there are no power, water, or sewer hookups.

Q: When can we move in?

A: Move-in times vary for each track day. The official move-in time is 7:00 pm, but we often open early around 5:30 pm. For example, if Sportbike Track Time has the track reserved for Saturday and Sunday, move-in should take place around 5:30 or 6:00 pm on Friday night.

Q: How late is the Credential Building open?

A: Credential Building hours vary for each track day, but usually it stays open until 9:00pm.

Q: What happens if I show up after the Credential Building closes?

A: You can park and wait in Lot G until the next morning. We will open the gates around 6:30am-7:00am.

Q: Can I stay in the Park Sunday night?

A: No, the park must be vacated by 7:00pm.

Q: Can I stay in Lot G on Sunday night?

A: There is no guarantee but you can check with the Track Manager or Gate Guard if you wish to stay in Lot G.

Q: Is there power or restrooms in Lot G?

A: No, there are no restrooms or power in Lot G.

Q: What if I show up early on Friday?

A: Park in Lot G and/or visit the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum – admission is only $15! If you don’t have a trailer you can park in the Museum parking lot.

Q: Is there a hotel nearby?

A: There is a Hampton Inn across the street on Rex Lake Rd. Your group probably has a group rate so be sure to ask!

Q: My trailer is 80’ long. Is there room for me?

A: Yes! We will park you on the first tier of the Paddock to the right of Race Control.

Q: Is there a track walk on Friday night?

A: Usually not. If you’d like to double-check, please contact Dave Long, Track Rental Manager at [email protected].

Q: Can I come in early and watch the Porsche Driving Experience?

A: Unfortunately, no. These are private rentals so no one may enter the Park until they’re off track.

Q: Do you have fuel?

A: Yes! We have 93, 98, and 110 octane Sunoco GT Race Fuel on-site. It is roughly $4/gallon for 93 & roughly $10/gallon for 98 & 110, but these prices fluctuate with the market.
